How do two-person paddles work?

The paddles are particularly important in shooter games. Normally you always use your right thumb to switch between the right analog stick and the buttons. The paddles now make it possible to keep your right thumb permanently on the right stick and operate the action buttons on the back of the controller using the paddles. Our two paddles are assigned X and O, which are the most used buttons in a shooter. This saves you a huge amount of time in heated game situations and gives you a huge advantage over your opponent.

How do four-person paddles work?

Four-paddles essentially function the same way as our two-paddles. However, all four action buttons from the front (X, Triangle, O, and Square) are mirrored to the back. This means that four of the most important buttons on the back can now also be operated using the paddles.

What is the use of smart triggers?

We use smart triggers in our basic controllers for the PS5. This modification gives the four shoulder buttons L1, R1, L2 and R2 a much shorter pressure path of around one millimeter. This is comparable to clicking on a computer mouse. Our smart triggers are a great advantage, especially with single-shot weapons in shooters.
